Our Mission
Feed a Dasher is a community-driven initiative created to support food delivery drivers who are struggling to meet basic needs while working hard to serve others. Every day, delivery drivers make it possible for families to eat—whether they’re sick, overwhelmed, working late, or simply trying to get through the day. Yet many of these drivers quietly struggle themselves.
Our mission is simple: to help food delivery drivers feel a little more secure when life gets hard.
We provide assistance to drivers facing financial hardship by helping with:
- Groceries and food support
- Holiday assistance/Birthday for their families
- Utility bills at risk of being shut off
- Medical expenses not otherwise covered
- Car repairs
These are real, practical needs that can make the difference between stability and crisis.
Feed a Dasher was inspired by a long-time DoorDash driver a devoted Christian father of six who worked tirelessly to provide for his family while still falling short at times. His story reflects the reality many delivery drivers face: working long hours, serving their communities, yet living one unexpected bill away from hardship.
